Same, also I actually like his design, so this image makes me sad, well not the image as much as the description, yeesh.

Really OP? That’s the guy you’re worrying about? No offense but compared to Sombra this guy looks pretty tame. A pony with a grey coat isn’t that outlandish, considering that we’ve seen a few BG stallions with the very same color. The only thing slightly edgy about him are the scar and maybe the hair color (purple black). But again, he still looks like a normal stallion and not like Sombra’s long lost twin brother, so I don’t get the fuse people making about him.

Purple and gray are shades of red and black, but yeah, I had to really get technical to make that joke.

EQD had an interview with Bobby Curnow about the whole “tying into S7” bit. It turns out to be nothing more than IDW having some talks with DHX about future stories and such and less discrepancies between mediums. Except DHX doesn’t seem to be bothering with its EU anymore than it already does.
 
So basically it’s the status quo as always, but with less instances of things like “Twilight Velvet might be the author of Daring Do, except she ain’t”.

A new writer for the comic said it was going to tie into Season 7, I can only hope it’s as much of a tie-in as the EqG ones.

Is there any proof this guy’s going to be in the 7th season?
