Derpy was just trying to make sure Braeburn wasn’t going to try anything funny. Unless we was going to tell a joke, or do a fancy comedy skit, or..wanders off mumbling to self

Though when Braeburn mentioned muffins, Derpy couldn’t rest. He really knows how to win a filly’s heart, even when he isn’t trying.
