So it is, my mistake. I just got xcom 2 and both guns look kinda similar.
Then i’m afraid i’m still confused on what you meant with “an OC that had nothing to do with the franchise based on attire/lack of background” But i guess it doesn’t matter =P

I’ve seen ‘em. I never thought anything of it in the past because it was just show horses with Halo weapons and you see that sort of thing all the time in the fandom. What made me tilt my head here was an OC that had nothing to do with the franchise based on attire/lack of background.
I’m not trying to give you grief or anything but I understand now that I see what you were going for.
If you take a moment of your time and look at the stuff on the artist tag, you see there’s plenty of art of ponies wielding halo weapons =P
That’s an SRS99 sniper rifle from the Halo series, though?
