Again, the isps are not going to roll out those changes immediately. The fact that they haven’t started throttling internet connections doesn’t change the fact that now they are able to in states where it is legal. Also, if you’re not interested in having a debate, why did you even reply to me?

It wasn’t that it wasn’t disastrous. Literally nothing happened. Also the only two states I remember enacting net neutrality laws were California and New York.
 
PS Look up ‘was net neutrality repealed.’ According to the wikipedia article, it was, and while the house voted to reinstate it, it would have to have been be signed by the president in order for the reinstatement to take effect. That was a year and a half ago

The only reason that the repeal wasn’t disastrous is because states enacted net neutrality laws. Also, ISPs would’ve changed their practices gradually.

Welp, Net Neutrality was repealed a while ago, and the world came to an end. The major American cities burn as we speak, and mothers cry out over the corpses of their children. AT&T calls for daily sacrifices, demanding the blood of our offspring in exchange for bandwidth. Because we foolishly repealed Net Neutrality, the corporate overlords rule over us all, having overthrown the government and replaced it with the UICA, the United Internet Companies of America. If only we weren’t so foolish…if only we weren’t…so foolish…

Well, other countries use internet packages where you have to pay for specific sites, and I think cable companies want to get in on that action as well, I mean why would the major ones try to merge with each other?

I think that monopolies create openings for business entrepreneurs, but only via free markets.
 
It is actually less free markets that create monopolies.
 
This is why I am unconcerned about a monopoly occurring if Net Neutrality is not maintained. In fact, it is my experience that government involvement in an economy is never good, and would like to see it removed.
 
That said, I don’t particularly care that much
