On a side note, any chance of a baby pictures presentation from the parents?
Spike is a young adult/adult in this series. He’s never been shown as a child. In one episode when Starlight asked Twilight how old Spike was, Twilight said a “few years younger than me.”
And knowing the series, they never show anything “bad.” Spike’s just gonna go spruce up, wash his face, etc, before meeting them downstairs for lunch.
I wouldn’t worry.
I mean, given that he’s dating a mare and he reacts like this to similar situations as well, I’m willing to bet he’s “of age”.
Alternatively, he could just be having a cool shower, which would calm him down.
No need to worry. I’m sure it’ll just be ambiguous implications and nothing more.

I like this relationship so far and have no problem with the current direction it has so far (despite being a Sparity shipper who wants karma delivered to the Spa Twins) but,
