You missed my point completely. If if all the other couples can be directly indicated through dialogue, I am holding this ship to the same standards. Ship teasing is not ship confirmation. I’m not saying that it’s impossible for there to be a romantic relationship, just that the show hasn’t confirmed it, and we shouldn’t act as if it has. Wait until it is directly confirmed through dialogue.

Yeah there is no indication of romantic interest. Discord is also a boy and he is a friend of Fluttershy. In many occasions Discord said that “they like eachother” and Fluttershy says that she likes him. So they are in like-like situation and we can also assume that they have romantic interest in mind. You see you can only take their background appeareance in Break up Breakdown as assumption that they love eachother more than friends but going that route you should also assume that from Fluttershy blushing in his arms and Spike announcing his attraction vocally.

sorry, I’m going to be honest. I’m just an insecure mess who is just a wincy bit jelly of Discord being good friends with Fluttershy, since Fluttershy is mai girl in my fantasies, I’m ok with there friendship but i’m worried that Discord will steal Fluttershy away. We’ve already lost 2 waifus to cannon (Maud Pie and Sci-Twi) but lucklily they were’nt really waifus to me, Fluttershy is. Also Discord was an ass to Fluttershy’s friend Treehugger, so there.
 
If this seems sad, then it is. But i’m very isolated person with mental issues, so don’t give me any bullcrap. thanks.

Discord is an animal? And ponies are not? Discord is as sapient as Iron Will or Capper. And he is also smart and funny which is a main reason she is attracted to him. She said he isn’t as anypony else meaning that all other stallions are just boring to her.

…. Liking someone just because they’re an “animal” isn’t very kind. I mean, she said she liked his chaos, and if her reasoning for being his friend was truly that shallow, she wouldn’t have forgiven him for betraying them.
 
As for Discord, he’s a huge jerk, but he’s also ran into danger without his magic for her, and nearly killed himself trying to made her happy. He clearly cares for her, and has shown care for Big Mac to a lesser degree.

Fair point, but I still think reforming him was a bit stupid, since he is OP and was truly insane and malicious, Unlike Glimmer who was forced into being a evil commie due to her friend leaving her alone, Discord seems to be pure insanity and evil with no motives, just a lust for driving the world into pure chaos. He’s a cool villain, but as a “nice guy” he just seems a bit dull and a bit of a jerk who will occasionally back stab Equestria until Fluttershy shakes her ass at him (which is a good motive, but still). Also Fluttershy only like him because he’s an animal, and i don’t think Flutters is into bestiality.

To each their own. I was reading all those terrible Discord reform fics before he ever came back. I was SO hype when he reformed. I love him, and I just wish he appeared more often.
 
 
Also, if the writers were forced to use him more, they’d eventually have to start writing him as more than a jerk who is sometimes nice. He could get the character deployment he deserves (in the writer’s defence, he was actually pretty nice in his latest episode, without being ‘un-Discord-y’)
