Game has become an ad riddled mess now. Putting full screen ads in that pop up seemingly randomly really grinds my gears. >=(
also lost my account so not happy about that.

the element shrines use to give gems, but i havent seen that happen in a long time. dropped 300 laughter elements in one once to see if it still worked. it does not.
That can be an interesting feature. Of course Greedloft wouldn’t bother to consider it.
oh wait the shops that only give out gems, ya i remember one from an event a little ways back. thought he meant coin shops have a chance to give gems.

After the update. For some reason it seems you have to reload the game (I guess it’s a surprise for the next time you open the game) before it appears.
They aren’t the shops that appear in the store. Instead they usually appear for a limited time in bundles. And you probably only have that one chance to get them.

Some shops gives you gems. I just have 2 of them, they’re pretty rare.
Yeah, several of these town games have this feature (I know the Family Guy game has it too). I have been hoping for awhile that they would add it to this one.
You can actually get a few hundred gems on repeat quests. If you already have the prizes from the first time, all of them are replaced with “50 gems”.
I mean, they’re not impossible to get without money, but you can be sure that you’ll be 10 years older by the time you get them without money.
It’s why I stopped playing, even when the withdrawals came crashing in.
