“Can I finally see my wife?”, Discord was pacing the hall nervously.  
“Give her time. We do not know what is happening in there…”, Twilight tried to calm him down but he continued to furiously pace up and down.  
“I have never invented a spell like that… I am just not sure if it even properly worked… I don’t think that she will be hurt, but… I’m still worried… Maybe it is too much for-”  
“SHE CAN HANDLE MY CHILD IF SHE CAN HANDLE ME”. Discord snapped at her.  
Tempest stepped next to Twilight but she motioned that she was fine.  
“Calm down, Discord!”, Applejack tried to reason with him but he simply ignored her and continued his pacing.  
“Can you STOP that, you’re driving me nuts!”, Rainbow Dash shouted.  
“What do YOU think I feel like?!”, he now turned to Rainbow Dash  
“I know you are worried but if you keep this up you’ll make the whole hospital collapse and she can most likely HEAR YOU”, Rainbow yelled back.  
He stopped pacing and sat down next to the door, snapped his fingers and his mouth zipped shut. He turned his head in protest away from the ponies around him.  
“And you call ME a drama queen”, Rarity sighed and turned back to sewing a little plush bunny.
 
Suddenly a small cry of a baby could be heard from within the room and in a cloud of confetti Discord was gone.
 
“What is it? What’s wrong?!”, he looked to the bed and hurried there, shoving the nurse out of the way. There lay Fluttershy with a bright ball of fur in her hooves. She looked exhausted just like Discord who had been worried sick over his pregnant mare for the last months.  
“Shhhh.”, Fluttershy smiled at him and then at the little furball in her hooves “It’s a girl… She looks just like you…”.  
Indeed did the little foal look less like a pony and more like a bizarre mix of a pony, a goat and possibly a snake. Yet its coat was even brighter than that of her mother.  
“I have to disagree on that, she looks more like you, my dear.”, he said in a sudden soft voice.  
Fluttershy laughed and looked at him “Oh your mane! It looks a bit different!”, she noticed.  
Discord posed, showing off a little additional fluff on his head: “Yes, my darling! I am glad you noticed! I don’t want everypony to think I’m our little sunshine’s gandad!”  
She laughed again and smiled at the little foal: “Sunshine… I like that name…”  
“Maybe something a bit shorter… like Sunny?” Dsicord suggested  
Fluttershy smiled at him: “Yes.”
