All these tubs in “Infestation Manifestation” are different colors: pink (strawberry), white (vanilla), green (mint or pistachio), and brown (chocolate). And if I’m not mistaken, I recall her saying that she ate oat flavored ice cream in this episode too.

You can tell she’s happy because it’s chocolate ice cream. She eats strawberry when she’s sad. I’m being serious, you can check the screencaps- she eats strawberry
@ILoveMyoozik
Possibly. I can’t blame her. Ice cream is good.
@BigBuggyBastage
Actual ice cream does cause the pleasure centers in the brain to light up. That’s why it’s a popular comfort food. Speaking from my personal experiences, it usually does make me feel better when I’m feeling down.
So comparing it to an anti-depressant may not be too far off the mark.
@GenericArchangel
Hmm. I think you may be onto something.
All of the ice cream in “It Isn’t The Mane Thing About You” seemed to be strawberry since the remaining bits in the tubs seemed to be all pink.
But at the same time, I don’t think Rarity is all too picky with ice cream flavors, regardless of her mood.

And the sundae she had in “Forever Filly” seems to have a mix of strawberry and other flavors.
Rarity just really loves her ice cream.

Maybe the Ben & Jerry’s equivalent in Equestria sticks antidepressants into their products?
“Try our new Super-Mint Mental Mayhem! It’s minty! It’s super! It’s got 300 milligrams of bupropion in every scoop!”
Maybe, she starting to get addicted to it XD
