“So one thing which has bothered me and a fair few people is the lack of backstory for Zecora and her homeland. So I set myself a challenge to bring some of that homeland to the show style and to also populate it. So to do this I went to my friend mlp-trailgrazer who is an expert in drawing African animals in MLP show style and he allowed me to use his designs for the Okapi and the Gazelles. Also pickfairy gave me two of her Zebra OC’s for the picture also.”

My only criticism comes to a bit of colour clash. The one zebra who has muted orange coat colour and has blue jewellery sticks out very hard. And I must before an argument may arise, I don’t have a problem with zebras having colour, it’s just what all the other zebras in the village use the same two shades of grey Zecora has, and so the one what doesn’t loos very out of place. I feel like if other zebras had more variations in their colour here, even if it was greenish grey or blueish grey or other such shades it would help.
