Mares who are pregnant actually go around nailing every stallion in the herd, because stallions have a nasty habit of killing foals that aren’t theirs. So if a mare did every dude around, no one will know whose kid it is.

By all means, don’t go around banging everything on two (or four) legs, but sex isn’t the end-all, be-all. And there isn’t just ONE correct way to go about choosing a partner. As long as people are safe and responsible about it, I couldn’t give less fucks about who they fuck. :p
