How do you know there’s no age gap between Spike and Gabby? I don’t recall them ever implying her age. For that matter, what about Sweetie Belle and Applebloom, or even Smolder? They all seem like they’d be closer in age than Gabby, unless there was some indicator I missed.

Most of those are WAY too old to be his girlfriend. Gaby is probably the best choice

I’m not. I just find it funny that people are taking this way too seriously and I thought I’d milk it for what it’s worth, this isn’t politics people, this is a silly little fun cartoon show. As for all the “abuse” claims, guys, Twilight has been hit with more things then any character in Feeling Pinkie Keen, in fact, she should be dead. It’s a cartoon, and one of the last ones to actually involve innocent cartoon slapstick.

Fine, but relax. Look, I just don’t like Sparity and I like Spabby, you can’t change my mind, but you can enjoy it. Look I just don’t like the ship(at all) but you can enjoy it. But since I know there will be no endgame ships for the Mane 6(Spike ain’t part of that) I gradually ship him with Gabby. But that’s just me.

People actually believed spike and rarity would end up together. I very much cringe at fanfictions that guilt trip rarity into dating or banging spike like Fyah. Everytime sparity ever happened it was from Spike’s point of view and spike is a fyahing kid Jesus Christ.

I love how Ember in this picture is like “Meh, well Griffon’s have cute rears, so good for you Spike.”
