EqG and FiM work differently in some ways. It depends on how old Cheese Sandwich is in EqG. The Mane 6 are under-aged School Girls in the Human World, and I suspect characters like Discord and Dr. Whooves were not brought over deliberately because of fan associations between them and the now under-aged School Girl Human versions of the Mane 6. Even when they both inevitably are both adults in the future, it’d be kinda creepy for Pinkie to marry a Man twice her age or even approaching it. This kind of “thinking too much” scenarios is just one of the oversights of Equestria Girls.

I had slightly similar feelings back in high school.
 
There was a girl I like and had known for years, I was going to ask her out, only to find out that she was dating some other guy. It really bummed me out. I felt like I should’ve tried harder or sooner.
 
But after a month of feeling sad about it, I decided that I’d be happy for her and move on with my life.
 
So you can just stop with all this “obsession this or that” BS.

Don’t forget that “Brandon” guy on DA and his love torward Starlight. He’s a totally different story.

I know I’m going to ruffle some feathers, but this is creepy. When someone is this obsessed with a character, it becomes unhealthy. This is just like the guys who are just as obsessed with Fluttershy and Celestia. I’m sure I’m probably going to get people saying “Don’t look”, or “Filter it out”, or even have this reported and deleted, but that is where I stand.

Someone needs to make a pic of Cooper Plume shaking hooves with Cheese, and maybe even include a little story where he tells Cheese that he better take good care of Pinkie.
 
And if you or whoever made Copper Plume still want to ship him with Pinkie, go right ahead and ship them.
 
It can just be an AU, like so many other pairs are set in.
