That sounds disappointing
Well, the Mane 6, Spike, Ponyville, Everfree Forest and Cloudsdale will likely return (things may have changed since then), but they’ll be rather different from G4. For example: Ponyville may be more of a colorful meadow and the home of Earth Ponies, Everfree Forest may be a magical forest and the home of unicorns and Cloudsdale… Well, it still may be the home of pegasi. And there may be a fourth city: Neon City (I think that may be where Spike probably comes from).
I hope they’re not just remaking G4…would’ve been nicer to see them continue the G4 world as hard as that would be
Leaked concept art from 2017 showed Twilight, Fluttershy and Pinkie will swap species around in G5 due to plot-related reasons.
