For what it’s worth, the improvement in your art over the course of the comic is obvious and I really like that you tried to create a middle ground balancing more realistic anatomy with EQG’s character designs.
 
It’s pretty great that you finally got to show off your writing skills in official work too.

I love how Pencils (probably?) quickly got used to the style. He’s good! Can Equestria Girls get an actual comic series so we can see him evolve more and more in the way he draws the characters?

I do think that this is just showing a time-elapse of Pencils getting the style down. There’s 4 stories in the book (the detention one, the RD/AJ one, another I’m forgetting, and then the sports one, and the style gets better with each one.

I had to really hop into this comic unprepared, IDW asked me if i was interested to draw equestria girls comic, and I of course was, but i didn’t expect them to throw me with a script instantly, so my hopes of getting to practice equestria girls prior to the comic went up in the air, and so I had to spend each day after drawing a page, practicing the equestria girls some more, and i had the time budget of 20 pages, for 30, to boot. So i pulled some crazy long days, skipped visiting family for christmas and didn’t celebrate new years, I just drew from waking up to the point I went to bed. I made fast progress in my equestria girls style, but sadly didn’t have time left over to re-draw the first pages in the end.

People complaining? Why? Dash looks HOT in this comics!

I don’t know why people are complaining. The art looks good to me.

I think the art here is better than the pages from the previews.

It’s kinda funny because AJ’s thing is honesty.
