Frankly, when I first read the tweet here on Derpibooru, I thought it was an inflamatory edit someone made.
 
In her case, she was offering to help with characters. Graphical content is the main thing that would need to change for the game to get by if they were interested in rebuilding. It’s a tweak that would obviously get them out of their current bind. Though the amount of work they’re discarding is still massive, so I’m really doubtful of how much good her gesture would do.
 
The songs might could use some changing, but I doubt the similarities are as obvious out of context (Except for maybe AJ’s stage theme). Thing is, did the people who were making the music quit the team and he’s offering to replace them? If that’s the case, that makes sense. If he’s offering to help because he just wanted the game to be the best it could be, why didn’t he offer musical assistance in advance?
 
I guess Mando’s voice acting offe still holds, though, but that wasn’t what I was referring to with my initial comment. (Frankly, I didn’t realize he offered to help with character voices.)

Acoustic guitar isn’t really the best choice for fighting game music. And I’m pretty sure Mando doesn’t have a female voice.

I just hope the majority of the Mane 6 Dev team has the willpower necessary to pull themselves up and dust themselves off.

If they get more big names behind this, there still might be a chance.
