Yeah, I agree. Though, sometimes they have good stories still, it's usually the more comical, or "slice of life" stories that are better. Whenever they try to be serious, or adventureous, they occasionally fall flat.
 
And that's not because it's a licensed comic, the Sonic & Megaman comics are great, and handle things better.


 
I thought that Zecora political-correctness drama was dead? But yeah, that might he partially why they're afraid to use her. (Also, Zecora's voice actress is black, and if she has no issue with Zecora, then why should all these white people be so offended on others' behalf?)


 
But yeah, I guess it's a shame the show wasn't able to build on Zecora or her culture. One thing I'll give the IDW comics are, they at least try to build on characters, and things the show doesn't.


 
I dunno, I think Price can do emotion pretty good sometimes, but he can overdo them too, like any artist. But admittedly, sometimes I like his exaggerations, when they fit a situation. (The above AJ & Zecora moment... Not so much.)
 
He's especially good at comical/cute moments.
