Except that an illusion is never offered or even mentioned, and one would think a simple illusion spell would be easy to apply any only needing a recharge once in a while. After all, as a unicorn Twi could create physical wings that could last for at least a day unless torched, and then she was an alicorn with a unicorn as powerful as she was helping. As often as she goes to the spa, you’d think popping in to the castle once a day or so to get her holo-hair recharged would be nothing.

Or maybe they knew that Rarity wanted a permanent solution, and the fact that one of them would have had to stick close to her for months. World’s most forethinking mares for avoiding an even bigger meltdown?
