It may have something to with the difference between unrealistic and implausible. No one seems to give a shit about the economic implications behind the designs for Mickey Mouse, Popeye the Sailor Man, or Sonic the Hedgehog… <_<

Fosgitt is my least favorite artist artist for these comics, but it’s tiring repeating the same things over and over, I would rather say some positive things at least.
 
Like he seems to have improved with the anatomy bit in this page.

Is there ANY official comic art that actually looks decent? It seems you either have floppy mane, over-the-top uncanon expressions and behaviour, or you have this floppy and wobbly style where every pony looks like it’s made of pudding that is falling apart.
