Maybe after putting on the crown she was initially affected by it the way someone normally would be by the elements (like it started making her see all the torment she’d been causing people) but then her anger and rage overwhelmed it since she wasn’t the correct wielder and she became a monster. Once Twilight uses it right on her she gets to see all the bad things she’s done without the visor of hatred and fury, making her remorseful

Yeah, this really confused me. She started sobbing when she put on the crown and then starts bawling after she’s freed from it. Was she possessed the entire time or something?
