Side note: the text at the top says “In front of the library” and “Emergency news program”.
The translation from below for the quote is correct, so I’m tagging this.

Ah yes, thank you. For some reason I couldn’t find the original picture, and there were so many yuri snowclones that I thought the original was a girl on girl to begin with. Interestingly, some people are speculating that the woman’s reaction was because she was actually scared of being caught in an affair (she has a wedding band on, but the man doesn’t).

Kinda close? Here the original.

The guy said “Being in the snow with my lover like this immerses me in a special feeling. I like it.”

The picture got a lot of attention after @HOMOMANKO tweeted the screenshot with the caption “SHUT UP, F**KING FOUR-EYES.” And so the meme was born.

My Personal favorite.

Not really any specific tag for it.

You’ll see these kinds of pip-interviews during the weather coverage if it merits, though. Check for clips from NHK and others such as ANN for sources.

If I were to tag these, and these in particular, it’d be “News Interviews”.

This set-up is apparently known as the “special feeling” meme in Japan. I don’t know Japanese myself and haven’t found a good explanation, but from the context I’ve seen it used in during drawn parodies, i believe that the origin is that a reporter started a spontaneous interview with two girls walking together in inclement weather , and one of the girls for some reason went from whatever subject that her opinion was being asked about to talking about how she and her fellow girl are in some sort of relationship or feel some sort of attraction for each other, using some cutesy or naive terminology like the name of the meme, and the other girl just face-palmed out of mortification that she just outed them both on live news coverage. Someone whose more knowledgable about japanese internet culture please tell me how hot or cold I am.
