@Twilatron217 Fluttershy can beat cockatrices too. In spite of being born with a somewhat OP power they are apparently quite wussy in Equestria, and not really super dangerous as in other works (then again pretty much everything is on the easymodo setting) Also if she doesn’t want to fight back then wouldn’t that mean she has an easier time dodging since she’s not concentrating on doing multiple things? Bad flyer confirmed.

Celestia didn’t want to fight back, so she didn’t fight back.  
And she also wasn’t hurt after taking one of NMM’s attacks (which isn’t surprising really, when you consider how pony magic isn’t even supposed to be offensive to begin with, so even their beams are more of a “stun setting” kind of deal).
 
How in the world is that any proof of Luna being stronger? Simple: Its not.  
Luna never does anything if she’s not under the nightmare’s control.  
As I see it, there’s more chances of it being like this:
 
NMM = Celestia > Luna.

In season 4 episode 2 when Luna became NMM Celestia said i will not fight you because she didn’t want to hurt her own sister, so thats why she flew away to keep trying to reason with her possessed sibling, but unfortunately she was caught off guard, a d was hit, but she managed to use her strength to activate and use the elements of harmony, something the mane six had to do together, Celestia is one pony and she managed to do all that, plus in the first few issues of the comic Celestia helps defend Canterlot from giant Cockotrices and takes a good few out.

Not to mention that celestia won anyway

Yet we havent seen Luna kick ass yet, why does everybody assume “oh Luna could have defeated Chrysalis because she is stronger” WHERE IS THE FUCKING PROOF OF THAT! From what i’ve seen she is no more powerful than her sister.

The sisters raising the sun/moon is not a testament to their powers. Its their talent. We’ve seen many timrs already how much impact your cutiemark has on your specific ability. Unicorns used to move the sun/moon before the sisters were born, so its not something exclusive to their power.
 
A Canterlot Wedding, for example, gives us a good example of this, when Twilight flat out stated how SA was the only one who could create a barrier as big/powerful as that one, not even the sisters could. Does that mean Shining Armor is more powerful than the sisters? No, it just means his own unique special talent (shield cutiemark = protection) gives him a specific spell with a specific purpose that no other pony with a different cutiemark would be able to emulate alone (not even the sisters apparently).
 
Ths sisters moving the sun/moon doesn’t make their magic stronger than anyone else’s.  
It just means that’s their special cutiemark-related spell.

-She never wanted to fight NMM, because she knew that with Twilight reawakeneing the elements, there was a chance to have her sister back.
 
-Discord is OP for anyone since he can change reality. He’s the one and only character that could be classified as a god (or at least a deity), since no matter how much the fanbase wants to think otherwise, the sisters are not gods themselves in any way.
 
-Chrysalis was actually shocked that she had overpowered Celestia, which was a clear indication that she knew without her sudden powerup, she would’ve gotten stomped.
 
-NMM again, she never defended herself, never tried to fight back for obvious reasons. And even then, she stood back up without much trouble.
 
Truth is Celestia has only truly been defeated once, by Chrysalis, and even then she had an external advatange. So really, this whole thing about Celestia being owned many times is ridiculous. And she’s also never been stated as invincible (that’s just fanon), so there.
