As much as simply scolding everyone and bringing in admins in the hopes that threats would quiet everyone down would help, an ounce of prevention (being humble and not attacking people) is worth a pound of cure (giving people ‘breaks’ for fighting). You don’t attack them, they won’t attack you. And yes, you DO attack them often enough for me to tell you to cool your jets and target you, specifically.

Oh, I suppose in a sense. They have a right to publish whatever they want, largely, but you have a right to not have to deal with it. I Can’t tell you how many Fice I’ve simply abruptly closed out of when it was obvious the Celestia hate went beyond comedy and into actually disliking the character. Sometimes, it’s i portent to recognize when you should just conserve your energy.

You know why I don’t lecture them? ‘Cause people have the basic right to voice a basic opinion on a character regardless of their stance. Everyone not only has the right, but the right to have their opinion challenged.

Regardless of the opinion of anyone in particular, you have the right to challenge them, but you do NOT have the right to be an asshole towards them, the artist, or anyone else. Until then, I’ll let you remain ignorant about my opinion, but just so you know, as far as this comic is concerned, the artist has the right to kill off a character so long as it moved the story in their desired direction. At the end of it all, they’re just putting on a ‘play’ for the amusement of readers, and you need to know your place when it comes to demanding that they don’t treat a character a certain way.
 
That place is, of course, nowhere. We have no right to suggest things if their story-plans are already complete, regardless of how we feel about the progression of the story, and if they do something we don’t like, we can CHOOSE whether to keep reading, or to stop reading. That’s our right to choose and we’ll do exactly what we want.
 
You… don’t let yourself be ‘grouped’ into the title of “celestia-lovers”. Look at things with an open mind and a hollow heart, uncaring of what’s to come, but ready for anything. If you do, you’ll find yourself feeling a lot more ready for surprises, and a lot less cynical.

Well maybe if she got treated with more respect and I as a fan wasn’t constantly alienated and given the middle finger by DHX, IDW, and “popular” bronies whose sense of humor is constantly bashing celestia in these so called “analysis” videos, and so called “epic” premiers, finales, and comics which just amount to bashing and worfing celestia and making twilight annoyingly arrogant and op and listing every other character to make twilight look good.

I appreciate you attempting to justify my stance with slander, but it won’t flush away your ignorance. You give titles to people and justify that they do the same to you, yet it’s YOU who comes into these comment-sections and complain about how a character gets treated by others.
 
The difference is, you come in and immediately go on the offensive, attacking the artists and viewers of their works, whereas others may not even fall into the category you’re shoving them into. The one who’s ‘mindless’ is the one who isn’t putting any thought into their argument and childishly berates everyone in the comment sections. You don’t care about understanding one side or another, heck, in this case you attacked people for something that hasn’t even HAPPENED YET!

And she didn’t get suckerpunched, she just used the love Shining Armor had for Cadance. In fact, in that scene, Celestia does that which can be considered closer to “suckerpunching” Chrysalis, but she underestimates the power Chrysalis has.

it is you who is lowering yourself to the standards of this comic. and no, just because we do not see things in the show is NO excuse to say it cannot happen. because the show has limits that a fanfic writer and artist does not need to be restricted by. and this ‘writer’ is doing that SOLELY to give the villains an advantage, not to develop a world for the characters to inhabit.
 
also think about this. four alicorns far surpassed discord’s power. i am pretty sure three could easily repel chrysalis.
