I assume most of them liked it, because they thought it was funny, not because they agree with his brand of crazy… Then again… Some Sonic fans were quick to jump on Kuta & Nicochi’s “anti-green-eyes” bandwagon 5 years ago… (Luckily, most others found that ridiculous.)

I guess I kinda prefer the peach/skin-colored arms, as that helped them stand out more, but yeah, some people take their hate of minor changes way to far…
 
I wasn’t really bothered by Knux’s look at all, also some were upset at him not wearing his usual boxing gloves. Sonic fans really hate change.

Honestly, I got more upset over Knuckles’ redesign. Not because of the giant six-pack muscles, but because they gave him hands! That ruined the entire franchise! XD

Chris Chan notoriously had a huge cow over the blue arms.  
To the point where he actually got in trouble for vandalizing “Sonic Boom” display cases/ads in game stores out of protest. (He wasn’t upset by how glitchy/unfinished the WiiU game was, he was upset by Sonic having blue arms.) Chris even got in further trouble for macing an employee unprovoked. (Which is considered “assault”) And he was in drag to.

Seriously, he may now be out-crazying Richard Kuta & Nicochi’s anti-green eyes movement. Sometimes these guys make me almost ashamed of being a Sonic fan. (And yes, Chris is also a brony, as you can see with his shirt. He got mad over “Equestria Girls” to, I remember.)

Perhaps, though the spikes, eyes, and such look more like modern Sonic, (and similar to the way Archie Comics artist Tracey Yardley draws him for the official Sonic comic) or maybe the artist was trying to combine both looks.

My only critique honestly is, I’m not sure what’s going on in it. Sonic’s arms, and legs seem tiny to.

Okay, is a picture of Rainbow and Sonic essentially bad? Because of the downvotes.

I dunno, people are hating this just because it has Sonic in it but I personally think it’s a nice piece of art.
