The idea came from the realization a friend of mine had that Spike and the Joker share color schemes, and that the pattern on Harley’s outfit resembles Rarity’s cutie mark. From then on, it became

This is awesome!! Sinister and seductive. Eccentric and endearing. I hope that this is an idea for Spike and Rarity for Nightmare Night, especially after the Nightmare Rarity and Dark Spike.
I don’t care that people say that Sparity ultimately can’t work. There are so many differences and things in common that they pretty much mesh completely. If only they could age Spike a few years (well the canon figure anyway).
