Why did they decide to play this game!? Doesn’t Twilight know that Monopoly has been destroying friendships for 80 years!?

The problem with Monopoly is that it’s impossible to be gracious in either victory or defeat. To win at Monopoly, you can’t just defeat your opponents – you have to absolutely crush them and drain them of every bit of money and property they own.

This picture reminds me of how my Dad taught my brothers and I to play Monopoly. There were only three house rules:

  1. No quarter offered, none taken. You play to win or not at all.
  2. Cheating is legal if you don’t get caught.
  3. No complaining. Period.

Needless to say, they were some pretty lively games, but we bonded well from the experience.

Where it is morally acceptable and expected for one to stab someone on the back. I love that game for that very reason. You never play Munchkin to be nice, you play to be the best and kill anyone in your way.
