Hm. I wasn’t aware of that. Silly of me to jump to the conclusion that they may have had someone else voice her.
And, yes, I’d love if they gave Dust the redemption she deserves. Even bringing Gilda back would be just as great. ~
Metzger always voiced Spitfire; she just had to sound raspier as a drill sergeant and it stuck with the character from then on.
But on the topic of Dusty, dear Lord yes, she needs to come back. It’d be nice to see how she and RD are doing as friends. The books imply they’re on good terms, but an episode on that would do it justice.
I absolutely agree with what you’ve said. I just hope they bring her original voice actor in and not do what they did to Spitfire. (Not that there is only problem with her current voice. I just prefer continuity. :3)
She’s one of the few characters who would be legitimately improved by a reform episode. A sort of “passing the torch” Wonderbolts episode with Spitfire, Soarin’, RD, and a wiser LD would be lovely.
