Their armor’s pretty much worthless, but you can make a mint off of their guns. Plus it’s just funny to run around wearing Vera’s dress and sunglasses, get jumped by professional assassins, then murder them effortlessly with a fire ax.

When the Legion keeps sending people to kill you but it never works. It gets pretty annoying but hey, free loot to sell for more caps. Also, don’t be sorry, Fallout is a game worth spamming.

And the Republic has proven time and time again mightier than both (minus of course giving the legion an ending where they win so players have choice). The NCR can actually build things, they have factories, the build guns, the build cities, they fix infrastructure, they bring government. Is the NCR perfect, of course not, but they make things better in a robust way, rather than being a shrinking band of toaster humping hermits, or a cult of personality.

Those guys are a good bunch too, the one thing they really have going for them is their grasp on old world tech and just, well, taking advantage of it as much as they could. It’s pretty cool.

I wonder if that bot Ipo is working on will be able to play Polka music. Ministry of Moral style.

funny story: Fallout New Vegas was my first fallout game. At the time, I was renting the game and after doing the beginning town’s quest, I started exploring. I came across my first every Radscorpion, saw that it was the size of a small bus and “noped” out of the game. I sent the game back the next day. I did get around to playing the game again and played as NCR. I love the East Coast Brotherhood of Steel since they recognized that they need help from outsiders.

So far, the NCR ironically. Flawed, of course, but they seem like a faction that can legitimately bring order because they’re extremely organized. Then again, I’ve only gotten so far into playing everything to make a completely informed decision.
