If I wanted nothing to do with the community, I would have just left it unfinished, and told people I wasn’t going back to it.
My problem isn’t that you’re making money off it, its more that you brought it back to make money while stating that you want nothing to do with the community

I’ll never understand why people get so bent out of shape with artists making money from fanart/parodied art, and yet you want the same said artists to make more content that is relevant to your interests.
Not everyone does art as a hobby, some people, like myself, do art as a full-time job, and thus, don’t have as much time for “hobby” artwork. So we ask for compensation in exchange for more content that is relevant to your interests.
We’re people just like you. We eat, sleep, and sh*t just like you do. We have to pay bills just like you do. And we’ve taken the time, labor and dedication to perfect this skill. We would like to see the fruits of our labor in some shape, or form.

Well, they nuked all their galleries and even said that they deleted everything from their computer. Claiming that their experience was nothing but stress and that they were doing this for their own well-being, which is fine. If it was really not doing them any good then as sad as that is then its still for the best.

To make a big deal about “leaving the fandom” and then coming back saying “i still dont like you, but i can make money” bugs me.
I have nothing against them personally because I dont know them, but I dont like that.

Yes, I am going to utilize patreon to accept donations for the comic (Some people actually want to donate, believe it or not), but I’m doing this for my own enjoyment. I don’t see why that’s an issue.
No, they’re just making it for patreon money
It sucks that they got shit from a few people who wouldn’t leave them alone but they’re whole “I’m leaving the fandom because you people are shit” (I’m paraphrasing) just left a bad taste and I stopped following them.
If you read the post they made about bringing this back, they pretty much said that they still don’t like the fandom and they are only making this because they can make money of it with patreon.
