The once dry land of Savannah is now a marshy swamp from the constant advance of the Dead Forest’s rot and decay. The Zebra’s have continued despite the destruction of their homeland, but even their resourcefulness is reaching its limits, and the advance of the Curse has only destroyed their hopes even further.
In the midst of this, in the far east, a prophecy exists claiming an end to the curse. Chasing this dream, Taluk and his sister Maluk travel to the distant land of Lael to see if the rumors are true or if their land and people are doomed to drown in a swampy land.
