I feel bad that was my gut reaction too, as well as on their last work. Aside from the WIPs (ex. you can see how her left thumb is in the inks but doesn’t make it to the final draft), it should also be noted it’s extremely challenging getting the same style back-to-back on different pieces with an AI. It seems that when “averaging” many artists’ work during AI training there’s bound to be someone whose style and subject matter are close to that AI “center point”.

The sun spots on her shoulders are a nice touch, gives her a more human/imperfect demeanor. Her mouth, nose, eyes and ears all combine elegantly into a very pretty face.

Might need an “I can’t believe it’s not AI” tag, or something less edgy, akin to tags like “i can’t believe it’s not idw”
