What we really need to help debug issues with the scraper is exact URLs used to scrape.

Additional info: When the glitch where opening something in a new tab gives back a blank new tab happens, it also turns out that trying to click a link from an existing derpibooru tab will just sit there on the original page after it fails to load.

There has been a bug with merged images for a while now. When I submit an updated version of an image with the exact same tags as before, then mark it a dupe, after it gets forwrd-merged, my artist tag shows a count which includes both images, which essentially leads to an incorrect number value on the tag counter, especially if I have to update images often. This likely happens with the other tags, but since they get new images regularly it’s harder to notice.
 
IMO the system shouldn’t count forward-merged images’ tags, since they aren’t effectively there anymore.
 
Edit: An image of mine has just been merged, and this bug seems to be fixed, so nevermind.

Going off of the earlier posts with the ‘corrupted content error’, not only that, but searching for anything, single or multiple tag, the majority of thumbnails will either take 5 minutes to load up or the page will finish loading without the thumbnails being loaded.
 
Also, I’ve watched the download times on my manager taking far too long (665kb taking three minutes). I use Firefox, fully updated to v30.0. I’ve reset Firefox, even uninstalled it and reinstalled it with no success.
 
Hilariously, my IE11 works just fine with the site. Have not tried other browsers as of yet, since I’m not a big fan of them. Pretty much just reporting this in case the info is helpful or evident of anything.
 
EDIT: Going to try and clear out my comp’s temp files and such. Also, all thumbnails on homepage are still broken for me after refreshing three times, and searching on a fifty image return only yields three four working thumbnails.
 
EDIT AGAIN: Yeah, it’s taking like, 8 minutes to download a 2mb pic from this site, but other sites go at normal speeds.

Yeah, we fixed that bug with tag counts and did a complete recount this morning.

Yeah, sounds similar to my issue (also Firefox). Strangely, I was on my netbook the other day and everything loaded just fine (though I didn’t log in, and it’s a lot slower than my main comp so maybe being slower made it faster in the end).
 
Given, there’s some other (also network-related) differences between my main comp and my netbook, so whenever I have a bit of time this summer holiday I’ll start ruling out things.
 
I’m fairly sure the number of thumbs is not the issue here, given that logging out on my main PC still gives me terrible pageloads.
 
The “three or four working thumbnails” thing is btw the exact same symptom I’m having (although if I wait long enough it will eventually download the rest too) I’m running archlinux. I do run a firewall, but the only weird things I’m seeing appear to be coming from google, plus every other site works just fine.
 
I’m pretty sure you’re using Windows (given you mention IE – would be nice to rule out different OS network stacks) but what version exactly? Are you running any sort of firewall? Check your router logs, too.

For additional info on my whole issue with pages glitching out and not loading with the whole new tab/no page change issue, I’m using a fully updated Windows 7. I thought it might have fixed itself but ironically it started happening when I was opening another page of notification tabs, including this thread.

The All Time Top Scoring page has issues in sorting the images by score - for example, I currently see >>545620 (adorable, score 1295) behind >>552065 (explicit, 1288), and >>577237 (explicit, 1169) behind >>489876 (explicit, 1151), and >>323817 (1115) behind >>167220 (adorable, 1098).
 
Is that due to some kind of vote cancelling? I knew that >>564104 (adorable) had many more downvotes…

Possibly; vote recounting for sorting might not be done if a vote is magicked away. Will probably sort itself out once there’s a new vote.
 
For those unaware, some guy had made over 60 accounts to downvote high scoring images. Fixing that was totally a fun time.

Everything looks normal on my end. : / Firewall is working fine and not affecting anything out of the ordinary… I don’t know, like, everything points to working fine, yet it just keeps screwing up. Dx
 
Correction, went straight to this thread without bothering to check the site out when I logged on. Seems like everything is working fine, oddly enough. All thumbnails load quickly, large pics download at normal speeds and the pages aren’t hanging anymore. :0

Slow loading pages issue should be fixed now.

Site is choppy on loading. Images keep breaking.

Images keep breaking 90% of the time when they are at the halfway load. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

We’re aware of the issue and looking into it. It’s transient so a real PITA to figure out!

Watched images are filled with tags and artists I’ve never selected currently.

Site is currently undergoing maintenance; expect oddness for the next 4 hours.

The Favicon, the image on the tab next to the name of the site, isn’t working properly since the site was updated. I use Internet Explorer 9. Also everytime I refresh using Firefox it says the javascript is disabled.

Bug in merged images: the Background Pony numbers no longer match up. For example, see the comments to >>678718.
 
The comment by @DanielTepesKraus (comment_53c2dccf6368723078710000) refers to a previous comment by “Background Pony #0E91”.
 
There is no Background Pony #0E91 anywhere in the comments.
 
Clicking on the link for it goes to a prior comment (comment_53bf034263687207f23c0100) by Background Pony #F397. All other comment links attributed to #0E91 also go to comments by #F397. Likewise, clicking on a link to a comment by #BD40 takes you to a comment by #02AF. New quotes created now will use the new numbers (#F397, #02AF, etc.). However, that will break again with any future merge.
