The reason why Cadence was in the Crystal Cave was because she lived there as a suite. Due to the fact that the Canterlot Castle did not have enough room for a third Princess.

Based on IDW comic cover: Prince Blueblood helped Shining Armor get with Princess Cadance. In thanks, Cadance used a love spell to help him get with mares. Unfortunately, she forgot to properly regulate the spell, then forgot about it, leading to Blueblood having countless mares bothering him, and he has to hugely mistreat them so they leave him alone.

Or Maybe Blueblood tricked Shining by faking being nice and Ponypon said have him humiliate himself but it ended up helping Shining. So From that day Blueblood is always trying to get back on shining but oe time accidentally made him promoted to the Royal Captian rank

Why do people need to give Blueblood some redeeming qualities that ultimately make no sense?
 
Why can’t he be a jerk? If you want something different, write a fan fic about him growing as a character to get it out of your system.

I like Blueblood being a douche, and I wish he was a recurring character who could just douche it up and occasionally act as a foil to the mane six the way Diamond Tiara occasionally does the CMC.
 
Why? Because it makes for better comedy in my opinion.

You asked why do people give Blueblood redeeming features. I responded by pointing out that a character whose only characteristic is being an asshole is boring.
 
Besides, this is crazy headcanons. They don’t have to be that consistent with the show. If I thought that the reason Nightmare Moon had a reputation for eating ponies because she turned them into candy and ate the resulting pony-candy golem, I’d be within my right to claim it here.

After thinking, my problem isn’t headcanons about Blueblood existing.
 
Just that they are all the same basic idea: he was a dick because of a misconception.

I’ve got some different Blueblood Headcanon!
 
Blueblood is genuinely a dick, but he’s also a great explorer (note the cutie mark). In a twist, he exaggerates his own dickishness when in Canterlot, so people avoid interacting with him, allowing him to return to adventuring faster… But when you really get to know him, he’s still a dick, but the kind you can find genuinely enjoyable to be around, and who will help you out even while making a number of sarcastic/insulting comments about your ineptitude.
