Naming Background Ponies Thread!

Former is taken already, the latter could easily be confused with the oc filly of the same name.
 
As for my contribution, maybe Sunny Delivery for the first one and possibly Purple Parcel for the latter.

Maybe they do since Scootaloo didn’t address Button Mash by his name? I mean, I’m pretty sure we gave him that name. He’s prominent in the new episode.

Well there are plenty of fan names Hasbro uses officially. Doctor Whooves (without the “W” for obvious reasons), Octavia, Mayor Mare, and Steven Magnet to name a few.

They likely still wouldn’t have chosen Bon Bon if the fans hadn’t named her that.

Okay so about the mailmares one has a rain cloud cutie-mark one has a sun and I think the purple has a snow flak so to me they seem to be themed after the the post office creed.
 

 
I think it worth keeping that in mind when naming them.

Appointed Rounds. In part because it’s post office related, but also because her cutie mark is a round thing that has points.

Wasn’t Silver Storm a Fallout Equestria character? Also, I have two OCs with that name (Cotton Cloudy’s mother and the pegasus version of Silver Spoon) and Kae has a Silver Storm…

Yes, that was my thought too, the cutie marks match the three things that shall not stay the couriers from their rounds. (Even if the purple one’s cutie mark is a flower, it’s something all-white in the daisy family, so very possibly an Edelweiss which is often associated with alpine snow.) So their names could be Rainy Day (blue), Northern Sleet (purple), and Moonlight Daze (orange). Or something along that theme.

Rainy Day sounds a little too similar to Rainy Days but few people care about Pink Eyes anyway so that’s probably what the name will end up being. The other two are good.

My suggestions:  
Blue: I’d really like to call her April Showers, which is a defunct name for Sprinkle Medley and no longer in use.  
Purple: Snow Lily. I think that may be what her cutie mark is, upon looking at pics of the flower.  
Orange: Sunrise Saunter, or Sunny Saunter, or Sunrise Sprint
