I seriously am beginning to wonder if there is any kind of rule or mandate that is keeping brightmac and pear butter from showing up in flashbacks featuring Applejack and her family.

4chan is a place that is simply not for everyone- you either fit there right or the bat or simply never fit no matter how hard you try.  
It’s still a good place to get brutally honest opinions about the series (both critics and praises) but it’s precisely because of that that so many people hates the place and constantly goes there to complain and try changing it to their particular taste.

This was a really fun episode. Glad that the main cast of voice actors got to do something with their characters that they’ve wanted to do, and it’s impressive how it turned out really well together. Pretty much figured that they’d take door 3 and give it to Spike as soon as I saw the flashback, but I’m not complaining. It’s all cutesy and sibling love and all that. Entertaining all the way until the end.
 
Even though Shining clearly said to get the crown out which they definitely didn’t do, but blah blah siblings.
 
Man, their parents just don’t age at all.
 
Ranking will probably wait for me until next week though, but this one is a strong contender for best of the season.

That’s probable, especially from what we’ve seen in Twilight’s seven. Altough, we gotta remember that we don’t know if they are dead or not.

The unpopular opinion thread is basically the most active thread on the site. it’s basically used for any talk of opinions in general.

Parental Glideance – RD’s parents, seemingly with a average to good message. 9/10  
Hard to say anything – A Big Mac episode that finally gives him a pony trashing bad shipping. Also entertaining. 8/10  
Triple Treat – I completely agreed that this was a remake. 5/10  
This isn’t mane thing about you – Message was alright, episode was good funny enough to watch the situations. 8/10  
Once Upon a Zepplin – Another entertaining episode which took a shot at the fandom with that pony and also Twi’s parents. 9/10  
Secrets and pies – Could had been forgettable but that’s it, episode was good enough to keep everyone on the watch of what was happening around RD and the pies.
 
Now, why you like so much S6 episodes over these ones. That’s the only thing you haven’t said.

I think it’s less of a mandate and more that there’s definitely an aura about AJ’s parents. Them showing up was really important and had been consciously avoided for SO long, that them just getting background cameos would feel weird.
 
At least, that’s my theory.

It made some sense before season 7 since we didn’t know what they even looked like but you’d think that they would want to use them in flashbacks now.

You can find great stuff on 4chan if you can learn to ignore the obvious shitposters, baiters and contrarians there, yes. Fortunately that place has filters, so you can get rid of a lot of useless threads and annoying commenters right off the bat.

Also, who the fuck hired Zeph? Is that explained?
