I thought Twilight Sparkle as an older princess of Equestria similar to Celestia was considered fanfiction until i watched The Last Problem and she turned out better than I expected.

i bet twilight would be more a teacher if she din’t became alicorn or a princess

Really, the only thing that irked me about the ending was after that beautiful farewell song and to see everyone older, they end it with the typical theme. That was so jarring. I wish they used a more classic MLP theme with a softer hymn.

probably around $60 to $70. Complete series tend to be pricy.

I know this has been argued to death at this point, but I’m really kind of disliking the Legion of Doom’s fate now given that it’s now clear that Discord never intended to reform them, and just have them be blasted to oblivion simply to give Twilight a confidence boost. He brought Sombra back just to be killed - and probably had a similar fate in mind for the other three.

Yeah, him just using them is… quite in chracter, but annoying.

There was no hint they had any willingness to change, so a “We realize the error of our ways” would have felt sappy and kind of out of place.
 
Discord probably figure 1,000 years in stone might chill them out

Discord went full circle…from the one trapped in stone to the one trapping others in stone.

But this goes beyond typical Discord shenanigans in my opinion. As Grogar, he casually watched as Sombra was killed again…and then made it quite clear to the other three that if they didn’t stay with him, they would face a similar or worse fate. He threatened their lives to force them to continue to stay and act in concert, while still having the full intention of getting them killed anyway.
 
That’s beyond typical chaos. That’s downright evil. And honestly, it makes me wonder if the writers always intended for Discord to be Grogar, or if this was some kind of change made at the last minute.
 
I would hope that at one point, Fluttershy would force Discord to tell the whole story, and then Princess Twilight would show some form of mercy and unpetrify them to face some kind of reformation processing. Either that, or give them some different punishment - Tirek back to Tartaurus, Cozy Glow to a foal reform institute, and Chrysalis repatriated back to the Changedlings.

And MLP probably has more flexibility to do something like that, too. Transformers seems like it has to start in the same place with the characters in the same roles, but for MLP you could definitely change around the world and the characters’ backstories while keeping their core personality traits and wind up with a unique but recognizable show. Come to think of it, they’ve already got some practice with that in the form of EqG.
