He did, but he still does a couple of episodes for Admirable Animations(I believe he did one for Amending Fences)/his whiny videos

I’m pretty sure he did for a while. I stopped watching him around the time he declared Twilight’s Kingdom to be the best episode of the show. Seriously, fuck this fandom’s blind love for TK.

I don’t care for any analyst anymore. If you ask me people should form their own opinions of episodes and not rely on people like Enter as if their word is sacred.

The fact that he declared S1 of LoK makes me fear for the other seasons, especially 3 and 4, which are by far the best seasons of that show.

He did after reviewing Twilight’s Kingdom. Don’t know why he stopped though.
@Spinny
Or maybe people just like the episode (like me) and sometime you don’t need a reason why? How bout dah?
@Mike
I’ve learned to not take any analyst’s opinions at face value. I just view them for entertainment and I form my own opinions on whatever they review.

I liked them too, especially Tommy. I wonder what he’s up to these days.

Probably got alot of blowback over it.
He was incredibly nasty at the prospect of others’ less than stellar opinions over it and started out calling it ‘perfect’.

OK this is getting boring…so would anyone be interested in a JoJo’s bizzare adventure type of show you know where it starts off with the mane six than becomes about their children and so on?😪😐

You definitely need a reason if you’re willing to look over its obvious flaws and praise it to high heaven.
I could write an essay picking apart Twilight’s Kingdom and explaining why it’s still the worst two-parter to date. But for over three years now, I’ve just been seeing a lot of: “ZOMG!!!! FIM WENT DBZ!!!! BEST EPISODE EVAAAAR!!!”

Pre-requisite mention by me that I don’t really get the hate for Fame and Misfortune.
Well, I do, but not why people hate the ending. I would’ve thought more people would appreciate a cartoony style episode ending that doesn’t wrap everything up in a neat bow.

Why the fuck do people want the pony version of Hide to be edgy and mysterious so badly?

Because the ending has implications beyond its cartoon.

Personally I think the ending missed an opportunity for one last meta joke where one of the Mane Six says something like, “I’m sure they’ll all forget about it in, oh, about a week or so.”

No, i mean it puts the irl fans of the actual cartoon on skewers and leaves them therepresumably to rot.
Token mention that it was a very funny episode i liked before that.

Can’t wait for Mr. Enter to take Fame & Misfortune using G3 ponies the same way a bunch of other idiots did.

what honestly irks me about that ep is the line “you’re no wingpony, rainbow dash. you’re a leader.” why, exactly, is she a leader? other than ultimately meeting the minimal expected standards of behavior, rainbow dash repeatedly showed she’s a terrible leader. she was entirely self-motivated at the expense of the safety and well being of her peers, she was willing to seek an audience with a superior to demand better treatment for herself but not to report the potentially dangerous behavior of lightning dust, and repeatedly followed along with actions in spite of knowing it was the wrong thing to do. demote lightning dust until they’re blue in the face, i’m fine with that, but the entire squad was more qualified to take her place as leader over rainbow dash and punishing only lightning dust by outright kicking her out when rainbow dash and spitfire were both equally guilty of wrongdoing doesn’t sit well with me.
@rdibp
i just assumed because honestly it doesn’t matter either way. if they did seek permission to be there, then the fault is on any combination of whoever cleared them to enter during an exercise, whoever let them bumble into the path of the exercise, or spitfire for not accounting for their arrival or halting the exercise. if they didn’t have permission, then it’s their fault for bumbling into the exercise in the first place. when you consider that, how the tornado was of little risk to any of the pegasi who belonged there, and that spitfire was initially entirely okay with using the tornado:

Rainbow Dash: That’s why I’m here, ma’am. Lightning Dust decided to use a tornado.
Spitfire: A bit excessive for cloud-busting. But judging from your time, it was obviously an effective tactic.
and only took offense to it when rainbow dash quit because ponies who had no business being there to begin with were put in danger, how is it in any way fair to put all the blame for it on lightning dust?
@DiscipleOfAndrewRyan
sort of. lightning dust is actually guilty of genuine wrongdoing, unlike trixie who was just kind of rude, but the episode acts like lightning dust was the only guilty party while spitfire and rainbow dash were just as bad.
@gingerninja666
that it’s a fairly hollow stab at the fanbase definitely doesn’t help, but even that aside it has a ton of problems from the tone, pacing, antagonists, and conclusion.
