Wrong thread (this isn’t for bug reports), but interesting bug. I don’t think there’s anything unusual in our HTML that should fail on IE11, even though we don’t officially support it.

Midnight Sparkle should imply to sci-twi.

I’ll try, but no guarantee on a quick fix here. It’s likely something really bizarre.

Do we need tags such as:  
submissive male unicorn  
submissive male pegasus  
unicorn malesub  
pegasus malesub  
earth pony malesub  
earth pony sub  
Or can they all just be tagged “submissive” along with sex/species/other?

What’s the difference between Thestrals and Bat Ponies?

One is an actual tribe from FIM canon and the other is a goddamn Harry Potter thing that people keep shitting up the tags with on images that have nothing to do with Harry Fuckening Potter.
 
There are like three or four images on the site that should have a thestral tag because they actually reference That Rowling Shit, and the rest should have it removed and whoever added it told to cut it the fuck out or suck a ban.

A *thestral is a type of pegasus originally from the Harry Potter novels characterized by batlike wings, a highly emaciated frame, fangs, a carnivorous/omnivorous diet and the magical quality of being invisible to everyone except those who have witnessed death.
 
One of these things, essentially:  

 
A bat pony is a type of pony originally from Friendship is Magic characterized by batlike wings, tufted ears, and (sometimes and sometimes not) slit pupils.

Of course there’s the added complication of “thestral” being adopted as an early fanon name for the bat pony species, with Larson backing (as in those that appeared before flutterbat, and usually separate from winged vampire ponies), which stuck around long enough to become embedded in fandom works. We’re not sure what to do with it yet. Options are merging the tags, which acknowledges the fandom element; removing all the tags and trying to enforce something against a still-existing fanon naming convention for bat ponies; or some other thing that we haven’t figured out yet.

This was never really resolved, but are the staff ok if ’shipping domino’ starts being tagged on images like this?:

What’s shipping domino?

They are referring to the type of picture where screencaps of two characters are juxtaposed and a heart is added between them. Many see them as a pox; low-effort edits, and nothing more. ‘Shipping domino’ is a suggested tag that could be applied to them so they could be filtered and forgotten.

looking back about 600 Shipping images and saw about 20ish pics like that at a glance. So, I guess Shipping Domino could work.
