That blush in season 6 finale no longer make it look like just a one sided crush from Discord side. So it’s more of a “just friends” than just friends. Although even fully making them married would not sink any ship in this fandom.

If Marblemac couldn’t put a stop to Fluttermac (and it really hasn’t) then nothing in canon is going to stop any favorite ship from the show from continuing.
 
Unless I missed something from the comics or spoilers from the upcoming movie, there hasn’t been anything recently that makes them any more than just friends. I don’t know where these proclamations of Discoshy/fluttercord is canon have been coming from. Frankly, it comes across like a sad joke or self delusion on the part of some over eager shippers.

I don’t think anything has been ruined at this point. I still enjoy Disleasia and FlutterMac despite the pronunciations that FlutterCord is canon (haven’t been keeping up with the show so I don’t know if it is or isn’t)
