I don’t consider them real feminists either. I consider them crazy extremists who think feminism is a women’s supremacist movement and probably have mental health issues of their own. Just like any extremist movement, they need to be shut down and told to shut up so the reasonable majority can properly represent the movement.

I think calling people “feminazis” isn’t helpful to either men or women, because women who shut down men being able to talk about their mental health, or say men can’t like things traditionally geared towards women, or women who think transgender women are just “men in a dress” are, to my mind, not feminists. Even if they self-identify as such. Just like MRAs don’t really care about men’s rights.

huh, i would like to have a little word with those MRA suckers, i’m the biggest prejudice hater and i also had suffered quite a few oppressions by feminazis. and if there’s one thing i enjoy is making these prejudiced bastards bleed. racists, homofobics, all of them (except for women, i have an honor code of never hit a woman)

Absolutely. I think gender roles are dumb.

But I think part of the problem is the Men’s Rights movement has been co-opted by MRAs. I differentiate between MRAs and legitimate Men’s Rights, but I think people see the phrase “Men’s Rights” and it makes them see red because the MRAs have turned it into a movement to hate women.

I meant online, but point taken.

I’ll amend it to: Okay, it has happened, but it’s rarer than the people shouting “triggered!” think. And it’s often a way to shut down anything feminists have to say.

i’m still waiting for hasbro to give them the attention they deserve

@Fetlock
and yet they still say that they’re the ones beeing oppressed… i would love to see my cousin having a little word with them, last time i saw she put a coworker on the hospital because of these “feminazi discourse”. But you’re right, not all feminists are like this, the ones who are i kindly call them feminazi

It’s interesting that whenever something like this happens all that’s there is a sea of comments talking about how feminists will be “triggered.” Never happened.

Actually, it has happened before. Last year, the University of York in the UK cancelled an IMD event to discuss men’s high suicide rate, lower life expectancy, and education issues after receiving a wave of backlash from feminist students, staff, and online activists. The University is still smarting over it that they haven’t dared to try the event again this year. This isn’t to say all feminists are like this, but to say that feminists have “never” gotten riled over IMD isn’t true.

Actually no, I am a feminist and I support IMD. Guy’s should be free to talk about mental health, male rape should be taken seriously etc. It’s interesting that whenever something like this happens all that’s there is a sea of comments talking about how feminists will be “triggered.” Never happened.
