So was Mac, the oldest one. It was explained that she changed her name to Buttercup, and her Mark is just a jam jar that was easily mistaken for green apple jam, so they never question it.
It’s possible she switched to using Buttercup after her father disowned her. AJ was surprised about that in the episode.
