Description

When returning home from work recently I saw that near my place someone had dumped a bed’s duckboard as bulky waste. So I looted one of the duckboard’s battens and cut it into many little pieces to practice pyrography on.  
The result is a whole collection of pyrography Applejacks. In this case it is a little image of her drawing an apple cart.

I very recently got an electrical burner to do this. First one I got ceased to work after less than five minutes so I could return it, but the next one I got works fine. I heard there are burners which allow to regulate the temperature (mine does not), which might be very useful, but I haven’t seen one with temperature regulation yet.

It’s gorgeous. I used to do very poor pyrography with paperclips that I heated using a lighter, but it looked as shit as you’d expect.
