Design of these two characters is quite similar: color, wearing rings in ears, they both have short one-word names, they are zebras. Since G4 characters were made on the basis of G1 characters, I decided that Zeb was changed into a good guy, moved to the forest and transformed into a female.

I didn’t get it at first but after a bit of research, the zebra on the left is Zeb. He was a male villain zebra from My Little Pony n’ Friends which was around Gen 1. Zecora on the left is basically showing how zebra males transformed from assholes to sexy neutral babes within 3 generations after the original since no male zebras are canonically seen after gen 1. That’s what I assume anyway.
