I’m happy we got MLP:FiM, but hell, they destroyed this franchise. The enemies should have never been petrified and the epilogue should have never been made.

There is NO REASON for why they could NOT -> They even have their own “do not steal” character: “Ray of Sunshine” (Sunset´s pet), that DHX was unable to use because of legal & technical issues [aparently the skeleton of its “puppet” made on standard Toon Boom Harmony was UN-portable to the obsolete modded FLASH].
