I really hated Gaia’s retarded obsession with hoodies. During the 4chan raid 7 of every 10 people had frickin’ hoodies.

Wow, Gaia… That was a long time ago. I have some really cool memories though.  
There was an alternate account I created and when they had this Halloween event that had your avatars turn into zombies I never had it cured. That alt was a zombie for almost two years, it was awesome.
 
I left around the time they introduced the games and hangouts or whatever they were called. It was about the same time they added avatar posing and facial expressions.

No matter what, it turned into a lot of fans throwing petty insult, refering to Robin and Gaara’s past, and it was so constant I just couldn’t stand it anymore. So I left.

Yes, it’s an online forum-based community, but they have introduced games over the years. So when someone says that he “played” Gaia Online, I know they only checked it out within the last few years or so. :P

Never really cared about Gaia Online before. This somehow makes me give negative fucks. Probably because this ad is forced as all hell and my cynicism toward free-2-pay [sic] MMOs makes me believe that everything but those generic shirts (and probably that Spike gear) have incredibly tiny drop rates to get people to buy hundreds of those scrolls to get the items they really want.  
That being said, it’s still less of a blatant cash grab than the Gameloft “game.”
