Bit disappointed that there was no crossover art for this game.  
According to a few magazines at the time of release, it beat out it’s competitor at the time, Final Fantasy 7, in nearly every respect.

Usually, a good sign of how good a game is, is to have a look at what copies are selling for.  
Most PS1 titles fetch around £2-£3 here in the UK, and you can get the old consoles for around £20 usually.
 
A copy of Grandia will set you back as much as the console, if not more.

Considering doing another of the three women generals (Nana, Saki and Mio), seeing as this latest one hasn’t done too badly. Wasn’t expecting a good score on it because the game isn’t that well known any more, mainly because it’s so old now.

So, is it possible that you may consider drawing a Grandia crossover pic yourself perhaps?
 
Got a whole game to go at for inspiration there.
 
(Admittedly if you tried ‘ponifying’ Leen from the game, everyone would think it’s Marble Pie)…..

Possibly … that’s actually a very interesting idea, although I usually don’t do that in a pony style
 
But, if I were to do that, it would probably be an homage to my number one favorite game of all time, pic related.

Hiya, I am new to this group >.< It is wonderful to see and meet all the artists around booru. I post sometimes, but I don’t always draw ponies, so check out my deviant art for more if anyone is interested in anything beyond just ponies.
 
Also, if anyone could help discuss, I am not completely satisfied with my pony style. I want to develop a softer look with thinner lines. Can anybody help/discuss this topic with me?

Welcome to the group here.
 
I only ever draw traditional art myself, and a quick look at your work tells me there’s little I can advise you on. Some great work there.
 
I’m sure someone here will be able to help though.

Didn’t want to do 4 pictures that looked exactly the same, so I did some slight style experimentation, especially in the 2nd and 3rd images(The second being my personal favorite).
 
Haven’t done anything animated in like a month. Should probably get on that.

Only thing I’m noticing is that I think her left foreleg is either a bit too long. or the way the sweater cuff is drawn makes it look like the hoof is detached from the fest of the leg.

And thanks! Maybe yes, the leg is a bit long, when I did the sketch it looked more “normal”.

I’m still surprised that no one else had done any crossover art with this game before I got to it.  
I mean, isn’t it a rule of the internet? If it exists, there’s pony of it?

Hello. I am new to this forum. It is so great that finally I have a chance to discuss art topic with amazing artists from around the world.
 
However, I don’t know should I consider myself an artist or not since I can only draw ponies and simple objects which never satisfy me. I have no drawing style. Not yet. I would really love to share a few of my best artworks but I am too awkward to do so.
 
I use vector program to trace my sketch and relive it to digital version. However, I decided to stop using vector for a long time and move on to digital painting. I’m still practicing, so if anyone would help me with my progress I would appreciate that.
