Basically since we reorganized the concept of money from being “a chunk of gold, shells, or other self-valuable material” into “The unit of exchange we label how much work something is worth to make it less of a pain in the ass to effectively be bartering for everything all of the time with a middleman product” we gained the ability to use more and more of our resources without having to keep stockpiles of metal around to facilitate these exchanges. This means we can get stuff built and done in exchange for the people who own the stuff and do the work being able to use that “you owe me”-ness to get the stuff they themselves need, and we’re generally all making stuff and consuming products faster and faster, which leads to accumulating debt.
 
Also; Hopefully in a little over 12 hours I’ll know when exactly I can get my gallstones (and likely the whole gallbladder) removed. Freaking finally.

Just the other day, some people mistook me for a girl despite my beard. Why does this keep happening?

anyone else feel some people feel too entitled for free stuff to the point calling people out for not being ‘true fans’ if they feel others aren’t too quick to share the stuff THEY paid for for the enjoyment of others (mainly the ones calling how “selfish” they are)?

to add insult to injury(?) people are actually providing links on how to rip videos off dvds and where to upload them exactly (“no shitty youtube versions. we want the good stuff”).
 
there is actually a guy who said he will upload it as soon as he gets the limited edition dvd but some people are complaining he’s not moving fast enough (the dvd came out december 6, they want the links december 5).

Ugh I have 10 art samples due for class tomorrow but I only managed to get one done.

It sucks when your friends make better art then you and get little to no attention, yet i get tons of it even though im not very good.

Was basically told to suck it up and deal with the pain because I’m overweight so surgery has a higher risk of complications so they won’t unless they have to. Past me would have loved that answer because surgery is something I was terrified of. Current me kind of wants to cry because I am so very tired of not being able to do stuff like yawn or lay on my side without pain and his answer to that was basically “Yeah. I have gallbladder issues myself. I was back working two weeks after part of my kidney died. Nut up and cope.” An ultrasound to make sure there’s nothing wrong besides the gallstones, and maintain my current low fat diet plus exercise to help lose the weight. Not even painkillers.

If you aren’t eating what everyone else is, then get you food cooked and out of the way before supper, because fucking bullshit that others can’t get their food because of your worthless ass being in the way so you can stuff your burn out face and that of the moron you got knocked up,

People are so damn BUTTHURT that Star Wars DARES to have a woman or black person in the lead roles that they’re calling for Rouge One to be boycotted. Because apparently having representation of minorities in media is “political” now.

And it wouldn’t fucking surprise me if any of the usual suspects around here agree with these assholes.
