G4 all the way for me. G5 isn’t bad, but it just doesn’t quite catch that same spark G4 did. FiM was lightning in a bottle. G1 would be my second favorite.

Is there a way to search by year? As in the year an image was uploaded here

You can use created_at:year, for example, to find all images uploaded in 2015: created_at:2015

Yes.

If a mod (or even an admin?) wants to take down one of their own comment, how does the process go? Can they just delete the comment? Or do they have to report the comment, then immediately claim the report and then delete the comment? Or does some other mod have to claim the report and actually hit the delete button?

I saw a deleted mod comment and it said “Deletion reason: Commenter request” and got curious.

We can delete without a report, having the reason as commenter request is just nice so others know why. Their comment wasn’t removed because of any rules, but because they didn’t want their comment up anymore. I have deleted a few of my own comments and put commenter request for this reason.
