Me too, though honestly you’re not missing too much. (“Joker” was great, but not part of the DC cinematic canon.) I hear Wonder Woman & Aquaman were quite good though.
 
I actually enjoyed some of their controversial movies like “Batman VS Superman,” but even I can’t deny it has flaws, and probably the worst Lex Luther.

I’ve only seen suicide squad and a little of Shazam. I might check out the suicide squad I’ve heard it’s supposed to be a soft reboot also peter capaldi is in it possibly as Hugo Strange or Mr Freeze. any other bald characters in DC?

Suicide Squad wasn’t bad, but it had some flaws too, and felt like it was emulating Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” a tad. (I did like Will Smith as Deadshot though.)  
Surprised they’re already rebooting it.
 
Hugo Strange would be cool, as he’s never been adapted to cinema.

it’s only being soft reboot I think it’s still supposed to be in the dceu just not a sequel.  
it’s also been directed by James Gunn

I still find it ironic that James made GOTG, then when Suicide Squad was made, everyone accused it of being a poor attempt at trying to copy GOTG, and now James is actually directing the follow up to the same movie the movie he made that everyone was accusing DC of trying to copy.

Makes sense considering DCEU has been trying to ride off MCU’s coattails since its inception. It’s only when it tries something moderately different that they actually succeed (WW), or in the case of Shazam imitate Marvel while not at the same time trying to recreate the Chris Nolan Batman trilogy.

This is a DCOM, or Disney Channel Original Movie, but I agree with you. Almost all of those are trash of varying degrees, but this one is the worst because it tries to have a message about racism.
 
Oh, and apparently the sequel introduces werewolves and paints them as a metaphor for Native Americans…

As somebody whom is part Native, and likes Native American culture, I don’t know how to feel about that.
 
Granted, some tribes actually did have their own tales & legends of Warewolf-like beings, but I doubt it’s anything like that.
