I cordially disagree. Human beings are social animals. We have been organizing ourselves into cooperative groups since our evolution. As such, a government is an absolute necessity for functional human livelihood. When humans go unregulated by higher power, they inevitably splinter into a multitude of fractions and subgroups, who will inevitably create internalized conflict with each other, to the determinant of all. For a perfect example, look at the modern USA. The people of my country have been granted too much freedom for far too long, and the result is a nation endlessly bickering, hopelessly stupid partisans who can’t thing for themselves, an uncontrollable crime problem that is impossible to tackle with the current restraints our law enforcement exists under, religious extremism and corporate greed directly controlling the government, and a market where any psycho can get their hands on a gun a massacre children. It’s downright sick that my fellow countrymen have allowed this state of decay to continue for as long as it has. Whenever I start thinking humans deserve freedom, I simply look outside.

With a singular, unified government, you only risk one policy of oppression becoming commonplace. With less government, every half baked redneck, bumbling hippie and corporate stooge can seize their share of power and create conflicting mini-regimes.
 
The objectivist ideal of everyone living independently and having no interference with others is a fine idea, but human beings naturally seek to dominate their fellow man. If a centralized, orderly government is not oppressing them, they will inevitably oppress each other. It’s the choice between a school house with a strict, domineering teacher, or a school house overrun with a multitude of bullies.

I am flummoxed by the praise that Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite gets. If you take the time to think about her characterisation within the greater context of the story and setting, you will realise that she is more of a mary sue than Twilicorn, and a cheerful disney princess™ in order to manipulate the player into liking her.

I actually wanted Firefly to be playable. Don’t get me wrong, Deathstroke is pretty cool. But, I just wanna fly around Gotham City and burn things.
